The recording studio of the Azerbaijan Society of the Visually Impaired (Az.GAC) has been operating under BTIM LLC since 2000. The studio was established with the financial support of the British International Humanitarian Organization OXFAM. From 2000 to May 2005, the studio operated under the name "Speaking Library". At first, selections from the Azerbaijani press, as well as short stories for school-age children were filmed and distributed among readers.

In 2002, with the financial support of Exxon Azerbaijan, and in 2004 with the financial support of the Eurasia Foundation, artistic, scientific and popular publications were filmed.

In 2017, the Representation of the Asian Muslims Committee of the International Islamic Charity Organization of Kuwait in Azerbaijan donated publishing equipment that meets modern standards to the Braille Publications Information Resource Center (BNRIM). With the help of this equipment, the publishing house was able to print dactyl (convex) drawings for the first time in the country. The opportunity created for the production of such affordable publications has enabled the production of affordable publications that meet world standards. Taking advantage of the situation, BNRIM won a tender announced by the Ministry of Education (printing textbooks in Braille for visually impaired children) and is currently publishing textbooks.

At the same time, the publishing house fulfills the orders of the Central Election Committee, the Ministries of Health, Culture, Education, Labor and Social Protection, as well as other public and private institutions.

Affordable publications published by the publishing house are provided to special institutions for the visually impaired.
