Baku Educational Production Enterprise of the Azerbaijan Society of the Visually Impaired

In the former Soviet Union, Az.GEC produced 17% of the republic's light industry products. Thus, the production areas of the Baku Educational Production Enterprise operating under the AzRC

Champagne factory (production of corks and caps for champagne);
Part of an air conditioning plant (production of small parts and manpower in air conditioning production);
Small household items (trays, electric sockets and plugs, napkins, window nets, etc.);
Small textiles (towels, bedding, curtains, socks, etc.);
In the production of rubber (flywheels, packs, rubber toys for children, etc.);
In the production of cardboard (cardboard paper boxes, parcels and paper ears, etc.);
In the field of construction materials (furniture, nails, door and window posts, various molds, etc.)
Carpet weaving (various carpets, rugs, palazs, etc.)
covered. All these production samples are preserved in the archives of the AzRC.

The production facilities of Az.GAC, which was active during the Soviet era, are currently in disrepair. Ensuring the employment of visually impaired people requires the support of donor organizations or its funding from the budget to ensure the sustainability of the activities of Az.GAC, which has extensive experience in restoring social adaptation and integration into society.
