ORGANIZATION OF NOVRUZ CELEBRATIONS

The Social Support for Persons in Need of Care Public Union, together with the Society of the Visually Impaired Public Union, held an event on the occasion of Novruz holiday at the request of the Social Services Agency.
The event was attended by about 100 children with visual impairments living in Baku, Absheron and Sumgayit and their accompanying parents.

The Chairman of the Society of the Visually Impaired Public Union, Samyar Abdullayev, spoke about the state care provided to vulnerable social groups, disabled people, including people with visual impairments, and the measures taken to strengthen their social protection, and congratulated the children on the occasion of Novruz holiday.
The show program with the performances of various fairy-tale characters was met with interest by the children. Bahar gizi, Kechal and Kosa entertained the participants with their cheerful and colorful numbers. Special games and competitions were also organized. The children both had fun and actively participated in the games and competitions.
The performed musical numbers made the holiday of children with visual impairments and their families even more joyful, and the winners of the fun games were given gifts. The gifts presented consisted of various educational and developmental materials, as well as fun toys and technological devices.
The participants participated in various fun games with the mythological heroes of the holiday and took pictures around the attributes of Novruz.
It should also be noted that on March 22 in Ganja, and on March 23 in Lankaran, a Novruz celebration will be held with the participation of another 200 visually impaired children.
