NOWRUZ CELEBRATION IN Ganja
DinləIn the city of Ganja, a holiday celebration dedicated to Nowruz Bayram was organized for visually impaired persons (children) under 18 years of age.
Public Union of Social Support to Persons in Need of Care-"QEOŞSD" I.B. On the order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, holiday parties were organized within the project "Organization of holiday events for disabled persons under the age of 18 on the occasion of Nowruz holiday".
The participation of visually impaired children in the above-mentioned regions was ensured at the holiday celebration, and suitable conditions were established to ensure the convenience of children and teenagers' participation in the celebration.
The holiday party was organized in the "Serinim" Restaurant, Ganja city.
Visually impaired children and teenagers living in Ganja city as well as in the surrounding districts of Samukh, Tovuz, Goygol, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Ujar and Yevlakh participated in the celebration.
In addition to accessible game and show programs for visually impaired children, food and sweets table decorated with elements specific to Nowruz holiday, as well as detiflo (accessible music equipment-headphones) gifts were presented at the holiday celebrations.
More than a hundred children and their accompanying persons took part in the celebration.
In addition to Novruz holiday characters, folk traditions and accessible entertainment for visually impaired children were organized at the celebration.
In his speech, Reyhan Jafarova, the head of the Public Union of Social Support to Persons Needing Care, the organizer of the holiday celebration, expressed his special thanks to the Social Services Agency and the visually impaired children who participated in the event and those accompanying them.
The leadership of the Azerbaijan Visually Impaired Society and the Ganja regional organization of the society, which supported the holiday celebration, expressed their special thanks to the Social Services Agency and especially to the country's president, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, for organizing such events.
In his speech, the chairman of AzGAC S. Abdullayev noted that the organization of such celebrations is a clear example of the care and attention of the country's leadership to disabled citizens and that it contributes to the removal of existing artificial barriers between the disabled and typical human societies. S. Abdullayev also said that the attention and respect our country shows to disabled citizens, especially to the most severe category of disability, visual disability, indicates the day-by-day rise of cultural development and civilized lifestyle in our country.
