The birthday event of Kamran Bashizadeh, who sacrificed his eyes for the country in the 44-day Patriotic War
Listen buttonToday, "Azerbaijan Visually Impaired Society" Public Union held an event on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the 44-day Patriotic War veteran Kamran Tarel Bakhshizadeh at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Khizi district.
The organizer of the event, Simuzer Atakishiyeva, an actress of the Azerbaijan National Young Spectators Theater, announced the opening.
Samyar Abdullayev, president of Az. GAC, spoke at the event about Kamran Bakhshizade's life and difficult battle path.
At the event, a short film called "Light of my Eyes, Homeland" was also shown.
The event was attended by Abdulla Huseynov, Deputy Director of the Social-Political and Humanitarian Affairs Department of Khizi District Executive Authority, Umman Rustamli, Deputy Chairman of YAP Khizi District Organization, Movsum Bagirov, representative of Absheron Khizi Regional Culture Department for Khizi District.
Kamran Bakhshizade's mother Rahim Bakhshizade spoke at the event and expressed her gratitude for the special attention and care shown to her son by the Azerbaijan Visually Impaired Society.
Kamran Bakhshizadeh was awarded the Order of Honor by the Society of the Visually Impaired of Azerbaijan as an honorary member for his bravery and heroism in the 44-day war.
In his speech, Kamran expressed his gratitude to Samyar Abdullayev, president of AzGEC, to Simuz Atakishiyeva, to the Executive Power of Khizi District, to the Absheron-Khizi Regional Culture Department and to everyone who participated in the event.
TV journalist Lala Muradkhanli and director of the film Faig Karimoglu spoke at the event and shared their thoughts about Kamran Bakhshizade. Actors of Azerbaijan National Young Audience Theater Aygun Fatullayeva, Guler Nabiyeva and Faig Mirzayev performed with poetry contributions.
Also, a musical program was organized at the event with the participation of art representatives and folk artists.
