A holiday party was organized for visually impaired children under 18 years of age
Listen buttonDisability up to the age of 18 has been determined by the "Social Support to Persons in Need of Care" and the Society of the Visually Impaired public associations by order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population within the series of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the World was held within the framework of the competition for organizing holiday events for children.
Speaking at the event, Samyar Abdullayev, Chairman of the Visually Impaired Society, congratulated the event participants on the establishment of sovereignty over the entire territory of our country this year after many years, and on the occasion of the World Azerbaijani Solidarity Day and the New Year holiday.
In addition to accessible game and show programs for visually impaired children, a table of food and sweets, as well as gifts were presented at the holiday celebration. The festive event was accompanied by a musical program, and visually impaired children sang, danced and had fun around the green Christmas tree with flashing lights throughout the event.
A total of three hundred children and their accompanying parents took part in the celebration.
It should be noted that in addition to the capital, it is planned to organize a series of holiday parties for visually impaired children under 18 living in Zagatala, Sheki, Gakh, Balaken, Guba, Khachmaz, Shabran and Gusar regions. The participation of visually impaired children from those regions will be ensured and suitable conditions will be created for each child.
The next holiday parties for children from that category will be organized at the "Tala Rooms" recreation center in Zagatala district and at the "Shane Guba Hotel" recreation center in Guba district.
